Kristin Campbell has been an educator in Washoe County School District (WCSD) for 18 years. She has a master’s degree in Elementary Education and a master’s in Education Administration & Supervision.
Kristin has been a trainer, communication leader, mentor teacher, member of the ActivBoard Cadre, Teaching American History (TAH) grant participant, and considers herself a “professional student.” As a professional learning facilitator for NWRPDP, she is currently supporting educators in Nevada Academic Content Standards implementation through Read by Grade 3 Literacy Support, Intermediate Content Literacy Support, Discussion-Rich Classrooms, Every Day Strategies for Improved Text-Based Writing, and Being a Writer program implementation.
Kristin also collaborates with other NWRPDP trainers and WCSD training coordinators to support educators in the design, implementation, and assessment of effective and engaging instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners. Passionate about elevating teaching and learning within and beyond the classroom, Kristin supports all levels of teacher leadership and facilitates professional learning for the Teachers Leading Change cohorts. She is a Learning Forward Nevada executive board member.
