Participants will develop cultural competency knowledge and skills using culturally responsive communication approaches and understanding in order to establish positive cross-cultural relationships with students, families, colleagues, and community members.
***Participants will receive three graduate graduates. This course has been approved by the Nevada Department of Education to meet renewal requirements. Classes will take place virtually on Zoom. Attendance is mandatory for full credit.
Cost of the course is $69 plus the cost of the text. Culturally and Linguistically Responsive Teaching and Learning by Sharroky Hollie, 2nd Edition.

This course fulfills the 45 hour NRS 391.0347, Regulation 130-18 requirement for Nevada state licensure.
