About the Event
Authors Allison Marchetti and Rebekah O’Dell provide a multitude of annotated examples from professional writers as well as student examples to illustrate how mentor texts can teach specific writing skills. Geared for 6th-12th grade teachers. Learn the what, why, and how of teaching with mentor texts and explore a range of high interest sources and diverse authors.
This course is a Southern Utah University Course for one-credit graduate course. Cost for the course is $21 and will be paid directly to SUU. The book will be provided by the Northwest Regional Professional Development Program. The course is also offered as 16 credit hours for free.
