There's no doubt that computer science can be intimidating. Computers and science are challenging. Put them together and it's certain to scare people away. However, I am here to tell you not to be scared. Don't be intimidated. You can do it!
There's no better way to learn about computer science than to hear from other educators, the people who have tackled the uncertainty and done it with their own students. Last year, before Covid, we held the 1st CS Summit in Reno where over 150 educators attended motivating keynotes and exciting sessions (no masks required). Every single person walked out of the building with something in their toolbox. Sadly, the Southern NV Summit was cancelled due to Covid, but don't worry...it's back!
The 2nd Computer Science Summit is happening. Yes, it will be a virtual summit, but it is definitely going to be something you won't want to miss. Don't be afraid of CS. This is the place to build your knowledge and take the first step to get started.
