About the Event

What is it?

Learn how you can bring Nevada’s computer science standards to your students in a fun, engaging way. This course is free and is offered by Southern Nevada RPDP. It is a 7-hour introductory workshop in Code.org’s CS Fundamentals. This workshop will be held in person and lunch will be provided.

When is it?

Two identical trainings will be held on April 2,2022 or May 7, 2022. All trainings are on Saturdays from 8:00 am to 3:30 pm.

Where is it?

The trainings will be held at The Regional Center for Teaching and Learning. The address is 380 Edison Way, suite 102A.

Teachers who successfully complete the workshop will receive a $210 stipend and a certificate for 7 professional learning hours that may apply toward license renewal.
