The Story of How Activists and Scientists Tamed AIDS

David France's work is hailed as the definitive history on the battle to stop the AIDS epidemic that took hold in the 1980s & 90s. The book both focuses on the scientific struggle to tame an epidemic as well as the movement generated by the LGBTQ community. Participants will dive into this work by engaging in strategies to take back to the classroom.
